Effective Monday 7th March 2022, due to staff capacity constraints and implementation of covid19 protocols, the Ministry of Justice will be reducing the Rarotonga office hours of when its service counters are open to the public to 10am to 2pm, unless by appointment. This change will only impact services provided over the counter; court schedules will continue to operate as normal.

Finance Officer & Receptionist – Salary Band E, Range: $22,035 - $29,209 View Job Description

The role of the Finance Officer & Receptionist is to support the financial management and reporting of the Ministry of Justice and ensure cashier services are provided and trading revenue is processed daily.  This is a vital support role requiring technical knowledge of accounting and banking, a high degree of customer service skills, and an attention to detail and accuracy to support Ministry operations.

The Ministry of Justice has four Intern – Casual positions available to assist with record management projects.

The Intern – Casual positions are paid at an hourly rate of $10, and are expected to be on a three month renewable agreement with intermittent hours and no leave entitlements.

The ideal applicant is one working towards a higher education, preferably Bachelor’s degree.
